Excursion: Skanaskalns Nature Trail 🌿
On Saturday, we will embark on an exciting journey through one of Latvia’s most beautiful spots — the Skanaskalns Nature Trail.
🚌 A bus will take us directly to the trailhead, from where our walking adventure begins.
🌲 The trail winds through scenic forest, along the river, and past glacially formed cliffs. Here you can enjoy fresh air, listen to the quiet of nature, and feel a special sense of harmony.
👣 The trail is about 3 km long. The path is easy and accessible, so everyone can walk at their own pace. Along the way, there are viewing platforms offering breathtaking views of the river and valley.
📸 This spot is perfect for photos: golden autumn leaves, reflections in the water, forest paths, and cliffs create a truly cozy and peaceful atmosphere.

Excursion Fees:
- Adults — 3 EUR
- Schoolchildren, students, and pensioners — 2 EUR
- Preschool children, persons with disabilities, and families with three or more children — free with the “Goda Ģimene 3+” card
Participation Fee for the Event:
- Club members and their guests — 70 EUR (includes two adults plus children under 18)
- Additional participant — 15 EUR (adult or child over 18)
What’s Included in the Event Fee:
- Parking space for motorhomes or trailers
- Electricity connection (limited). Please use electricity responsibly: do not connect high-power devices so that everyone has enough. Respect others!
- Access to shower, toilet, and cassette emptying area
- Drinking water
- Full program of activities
- Transport (bus) to the excursion site and back included in the fee
- Excursion is paid separately: 3 EUR per adult, 2 EUR per child
- Sauna sessions
- Club-provided lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday
Sauna Hours:
- Friday and Saturday: 17:00–22:00
Additional Information:
If your motorhome cannot arrive but you want to participate, there is an option to rent rooms. One room costs 25 EUR per night. Rooms are styled in the 1980s, like in school camps. For rented rooms, participation fee for each additional participant is 15 EUR.
