Dear friends and members of the Latvian Caravan Club,

We are delighted to invite you to our traditional autumn gathering — “Golden Autumn 2024,” which will take place from October 25 to 27. During this magical time of year, we will come together once again to celebrate the end of the season in a cozy and heartfelt atmosphere.

Over the three days, an exciting program awaits us: visits to the museum, immersion in cultural heritage, relaxing sauna sessions, evenings with live music and saxophone performances, and delicious communal dinners. There will be something for everyone — whether you prefer active participation in excursions or a leisurely rest among like-minded friends.

Come for vibrant experiences, new acquaintances, and warm memories! Autumn is the time when nature gifts us with its golden hues, and our club creates an atmosphere of unity and joy.

Excursion to the Daugava Museum

The Daugava Museum, located on Dole Island near Salaspils, is an engaging place dedicated to the history and culture of the Daugava River and its surrounding region. Housed in a manor built in 1898, the museum opened its doors to visitors in 1977. Its exhibitions showcase archaeological findings and the cultural history of the area, including information about the ancient inhabitants of the Daugava Valley. Additionally, the museum grounds feature a beautiful park with reconstructed fishing cottages and traditional tools for catching salmon and eel.
